The Company
Our client (headquarted in Europe) is a global digital agency that support their MNC clients worldwide to grow their brands and expand their businesses through the adoption of newest technologies. They are looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team to support the growing business in APAC region.
The Role
This role reports to the Finance Team Lead in Singapore office. You shall be handling the day-to-day accounting transactions and month end close of the business which include mainly GL (audit schedules, expenses analysis and intercompany reconciliations) function. Overseeing the AR (invoices, aging report and receipts) and AP (commission payments, staff expenses and PO preparation) activities performed by India team.
You shall support the review of management reports performed by an outsourced Accountant for China entity and making sure the accounting transactions are aligned with the company's accounting policy.
In addition, you are to handle and support quarterly GST and tax computation at year end, liaising with auditors, corporate secretary, bankers and tax agents for statutory compliance matters. During the budget and forecast period, you shall support in the expenses analysis and revenue forecast based on project accounting.
Your Profile
This role suits someone who is experienced in working in a MNC set up with full sets of account exposure. Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience with prior audit background is advantageous. You shall be a degree holder in finance/accounting or business related discipline. Strong team player and confident in liaising with different stakeholders. Language proficiency such as English and Chinese are necessary as this role would need to liaise with Chinese counterparts on the finance matters. Auditors with advertisting portfolios and project accounting background are welcome to apply for this role.
