Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of operations with local safety regulations and guidelines such as the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, WSH Regulations, and other relevant standards, including regular updates on any changes to these regulations.
- Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report and assist WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
- Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put-up safety reports, including safety issues.
- Compiles all relevant reports and records and carries out daily safety inspections.
- Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations.
- To support and administer all WSH-related initiatives.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes
- Min 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry, preferably in HDB Project
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to start work within short notice.
