Job Summary
The Event & Membership Executive is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events and initiatives that enhance member engagement and satisfaction. This role also involves managing membership-related activities, including recruitment, retention, and providing excellent member services to foster a strong and connected community.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
- Plan, organize, and execute events, including workshops, conferences, networking sessions, and other member-focused activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Handle event marketing, including promotional materials, email campaigns, and social media updates.
Membership Management
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new members.
- Maintain accurate membership records and manage renewals.
- Respond to member inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies for member retention and engagement.
- Collaborate with other teams to create value-added services and benefits for members.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of events, memberships, and related documentation.
- Prepare reports on event outcomes and membership statistics.
- Assist in drafting and distributing newsletters, announcements, and other communications.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and membership services.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools.
