Job Descriptions
- Greet and serve customers, guide customers to their tables
- Present menus, efficiently take customer orders including any special requests
- Offer menu, wine recommendations upon request
- Provide information when asked (e.g. ingredients, portions or potential food allergies)
- Ensure orders are correct and delivered promptly
- Effectively communicate with Kitchen staff on order details
- Input order into POS system
- Check dishes and kitchen ware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a cleanliness and tidiness at the dining area
- Maintain the table setting by clearing courses as completed, replacing utensils and cutlery, refreshing water glasses
- Check and process cash and credit card payments
- Handle customer complaints in a polite and professional manner
- Discuss with Kitchen staff and review daily specials, changes on the menu and requests made for reservations
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of menu items and daily specials
- To work independently and be a team player
- Comply with safety, health and hygiene policies and procedures
- To carry our ad-hoc duties as assigned
- To always strive towards best customer satisfaction ensuring customers are satisfied with their food order, Beverages and service
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling
- Familiarity with food safety, health, and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible with work schedule, able to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, with willingness to learn and stay updated

Working Hours
- 5.5 days is 49.5 hours
- 1030 - 3pm and 6 - 1030pm
- Lunch is before 12pm (paid)
- Dinner is between 5-6pm break time.
