Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
- Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies.
- Coordinate WSH initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams.
- Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report.
- Ensure project’s compliance with all statutory requirements at all times.
- Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place.
Requirements:
- Registered WSHO with minimum 5 years of working experience in a construction firm
- Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
- Able to speak mandarin as required to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
- A team player and able to work with all levels
