The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of Land Transport Authority (LTA) and relevant authorities.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Overall in charge and manage the coordination works for civil structural, architecture and M & E activities.
- Provide technical expertise as required on project.
- Responsible for managing and positively developing relationships between Woh Hup (WH) & Client(s).
- Line Management of employees and driving employees’ productivity and performance.
- Responsible for managing job profitability of assigned projects.
- Guidance on team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance to master programme with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.
- Efficient management of resources and materials.
- Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
Skills & Requirements
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in delivering large scale projects in civil and infrastructure
- Experience in LTA underground projects (with A&A Works) preferred
- Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural, Architectural Design and Contracts Administration with established experience and proven ability to deliver projects
- Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from start to hand-over
- Extensive experience within a construction environment demonstrating accountability and ability to meet commitments through key internal stakeholders, clients and staff at all levels
