Director, Business Development APAC

The Director, Business Development APAC will be responsible for owning the revenue generation process and meeting or exceeding revenue targets for the APAC region. You will be held accountable for building long term relationships with customers and strategic partners to generate opportunities. This role will be both strategic and hands-on, working with the leadership team to developing and managing plan execution. This position reports to Managing Director, Asia Pacific.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve in several leadership roles including sales, business development and marketing.
  • Responsible to develop sales and business development strategies.
  • Maintain and communicate accurate sales forecasts.
  • Working in full sales cycle involving discover, develop, propose, negotiate and sales closure with key account.
  • Manage and mentor a sales team.
  • Develop excellent relationships in key accounts.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure.
  • Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
  • Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities.
  • Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers.
  • Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done.’
  • Strong attention to detail.

Experience/Education

  • 10+ years of sales management experience required.
  • Extensive APAC enterprise selling experience working with direct and indirect channel sales.
  • Strong collaborator that works well cross functionally, across the company and externally.
  • A global view with strong experience within key markets in the APAC region.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the data center, construction and real estate industry a plus.
