Job Description
The primary objectives of the position are to manage the Parts Department, ensuring optimal and efficient operations, while maintaining high standards of customer service and proactively addressing any service gaps.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient and timely processing of parts quotations and orders, from receipt to dispatch and invoicing.
- Oversee the prompt release and collection of daily parts orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of discrepancy claims and returns.
- Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to parts orders.
- Coordinate with branches, internal departments, suppliers, and forwarders on parts-related matters.
- Ensure smooth supply chain and logistics operations for parts shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory in the system and conduct regular physical inventory checks in the warehouse.
- Manage the department's annual stock-taking process.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and development.
- Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end process for key account parts supply.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a degree/diploma in Engineering and / or Supply Chain and Logistics
- Has at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar operation, of which 3 years in a managerial capacity
- Knowledge of SAP system in an added advantage
- Ability to travel to overseas sites when required
