Description
The Business Development Manager will support O' Living Pte. Ltd.'s strategic growth efforts through expansion into new locations, fostering collaborations or mergers with other salons and establishing our range of organic products in the market. The role focuses on driving business growth, building partnerships and enhancing brand presence in Singapore. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in business expansion, partnership management and product development in the beauty and cosmetics industry.
Responsibilty
1) Conduct in-depth research on potential locations for new salon outlets by analysing foot traffic, competition and demographic suitability to identify opportunities for growth, especially in under-served markets.
2) Identify potential salons or businesses for collaboration or merger, and lead negotiations while managing all merger-related activities to ensure smooth transitions.
3) Lead the opening of new outlets, including handling contracts, negotiating rental terms and operational setup. Continuously monitor the performance of these outlets and recommend adjustments as needed, ensuring each outlet achieves its business objectives.
4) Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the visibility and recognition of O' Living's organic product line by planning and executing product launches. This includes identifying market trends, understanding customer preferences and developing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
5) Provide detailed reports to senior management on market trends, competitor analysis and expansion results. Develop and adjust strategic plans to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term goals.
Technical Skills and Competencies
1) Learn how to identify market opportunities, analyse new locations and execute the setup of new outlets.
2) Develop skills in negotiating business terms and managing successful collaborations, mergers or partnerships.
