Job Description
We are looking for a Service Engineer as Maintenance Lead to lead and supervise the maintenance team in maintaining and managing system hardware and networks at customer site located over Singapore island to meet the contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA). The Service Engineer shall report to and under the supervisory of the Maintenance Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks and devise maintenance schedule and resources planning and deployment.
- Provide solution guidance to the Service Technicians and generation of maintenance documentation such as PM & CM report to Manager for review and final release to customer.
- Provide CM on faults to establish root cause on an ad-hoc basis including I-level & D-level testing and troubleshooting on equipment
- Plan and perform PM to system equipment at scheduled/ periodic basis including O-level testing and sensors calibration to ensure optimal operational performance
- Collaborate with OEM to establish root cause of fault findings and D-level components repair
- Supervise sub-contractor performing maintenance at site
- Convey updates to Manager and customer on maintenance progress.
- Review with Manager on maintenance processes and resources etc for maintenance process improvement.
Requirements
- Holding recognised Professional Certificate minimum with Higher Nitec/Diploma/ Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical /Mechatronics/ Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from recognised institution or at least 5-yearsworking experiences in above mentioned engineering fields.
- Advantage if have the knowledge and experience working with sensor, control, automation, and Information Technology (IT) system troubleshooting
- Resourcefulness and logical in problem-solving aptitude.
- Able to travel and work under non-conducive environment including site located at offshore island, buoys and in high security areas such as military base, and airport etc
- Ability to lead and manage a team, and to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to conduct risk assessment and provide advisory to the team member and Manager.
- Preferably holding a Class 3 driving license and familiar with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS).
- Ability to converse well in English language and technically.
