The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
What you'll do
We are looking for amazing people to join our rapidly growing Asia Pacific sales team. Based in Singapore you will drive sales in APAC. You will be expected to travel to your territories as required. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of contacts within APAC: enterprise companies within your territory as well as relevant channel partners such as Systems Integrators, Value Added Resellers, MSP's.
The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement with junior through senior levels within Cloudflare’s target customers.
- Develop and execute upon Sales strategy/plan for APAC
- Drive sales in APAC to achieve revenue targets
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services
- Manage contract negotiations
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Recruit, develop and work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- < 60% travel
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Fluency in both English and an additional ASEAN language is required to work with partners and clients in the respective countries
- Relevant direct experience, track record, and relationships within corporate accounts and key partners in an additional ASEAN market
- Minimum 10 years of direct B2B selling experience,
- Direct experience selling network security, zero trust and/or CDN solutions and services preferred
- Prior experience being part of an early sales team helping drive traction in an additional ASEAN market for a US-based SaaS company highly preferred
- Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
- Basic Understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills
- Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit, ability to lead
- Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment
