We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic local Singapore graduates with ITE & Diploma certifications to join our team as Solar Site Engineer. The ideal candidate should be willing to work under harsh conditions at project sites and possess a strong interest in renewable energy, particularly solar power systems.Responsibilities:1. Site Assessment and Preparation· Assist in the evaluation and preparation of project sites for solar installations.· Conduct site surveys and collect data necessary for the design and installation of solar systems.· Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure all site conditions and requirements are met.2. Installation and Commissioning:· Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.· Work with PM to ensure installations comply with design specifications and safety standards.· Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation3. Maintenance and Support:· Perform regular maintenance checks on installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.· Assist in diagnosing and repairing any faults or issues with the solar equipment.· Maintain accurate records of site activities, including installation progress, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered.· Prepare and submit reports to senior engineers and project managers4. Collaboration and Communication :· Work closely with other team members, including electricians, technicians, and project managers.· Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.Criteria:· ITE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields.· Basic understanding of solar PV systems and renewable energy principles.· Willingness to work outdoors and under harsh conditions.· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.· Physically fit and able to handle the demands of on-site work.Preferred Skills:· Experience with solar PV system installation or maintenance (internships or academic projects are acceptable).· Familiarity with electrical drawings· Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.· Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for site assessment and installation.Working Conditions:· Primarily outdoor work at various project sites.· Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially challenging environments.· Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to meet project deadlines.
