Overview:
- Join the team of a leading Japanese semiconductor distributor as we expand our global presence. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to manage relationships with Japanese customers in Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Japanese customers, addressing daily inquiries related to quotations, deliveries, quality, environmental, legal, financial, technical, and other services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure customer satisfaction while aligning with company policies and interests. Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential for handling various transactions and issues.
- Conduct face-to-face or online meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to strengthen relationships, understand customer production trends, and discuss sales forecasts or daily matters.
- Take proactive steps to prevent or resolve long-term inventory issues, updating the status in internal tools as required.
- Occasionally travel for business trips to visit overseas customers.
- Contribute to the company’s growth into new business sectors beyond semiconductor distribution.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Japanese (N2 or higher) or a strong willingness to improve language skills.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics industries, or relevant educational or work experience in Japan.
- Strong communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiar with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, export/import procedures, and logistics (warehouse/forwarding) is a plus.
