Mission Description:
- Lead and manage regulatory reporting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and objectives.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) to plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external software vendors to align delivery roadmaps and ensure seamless integration of regulatory reporting solutions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for regulatory reporting projects.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement to enhance regulatory reporting capabilities.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specification documents (FSD), and data transformation documents (DTD).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR, MiFIR, HKMA, and MAS.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on existing reporting processes.
- Implement and maintain transaction regulatory reporting tools and frameworks for Asian and European regulators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, compliance officers, and external vendors.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Profile Requirment:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking industry.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR, MiFIR, HKMA, and MAS.
- Strong understanding of IT architecture and transaction regulatory reporting tools and frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to model complex systems and data.
