Job Responsibilities:
• Create new profiles in line with regional taste, needs and preferences
• Interact with key customers regionally in order to understand their requirements
• Lead technical laboratories (compounding & GCMS)
• Liaise directly with R&D France on relevant project work
• Support the introduction of new materials in the Singapore creative portfolio
• Support the scale up of new formulations and production
• Proactively works on new molecules, and other specific areas of improvement
• Able to mentor others within the organisation – trainee and associate flavourists
• Be involved with external stakeholders - industry bodies, flavourist associations, etc.
• Be connected regionally in sharing knowledge, teamwork and strategic partnerships
Required Skills:
• Subject matter expert in raw materials and flavour creation techniques
• Minimum 5 years of experience within industry
• Posses self-interest in attaining knowledge in the area of flavour chemistry and flavour creation
• Effective team player with excellent communication skills
• Posses management and organisational skills
• Able to efficiently solve issues at hand
• Posses strong sense of palatable taste, especially in the discrimination and articulation of ingredients, flavours and applications

Academic Qualifications
Minimum entry level is a science degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences etc.)
Preferable a Master’ degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Food Engineering and/or Chemistry Engineering
