Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of critical static equipment in industrial settings, including heat exchangers, high-pressure vessels, furnaces, and related systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team managing complex projects involving highly technical equipment across various industries, such as oil & gas, chemical processing, and power generation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design, project management, and static equipment handling, with the ability to travel internationally as needed to support project execution and ensure safety and performance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of static equipment projects, including heat exchangers, high-pressure vessels, and furnaces.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of static equipment.
- Ensure all equipment complies with relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure equipment and materials are available for timely project execution.
- Regularly report on project progress, budgets, and timelines to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience working with static equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, high-pressure vessels, furnaces) in industrial settings.
- Project Management: Proven experience managing projects involving complex equipment, from initial design to installation and maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles related to heat transfer, pressure systems, and high-temperature equipment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods (up to 1 month) as required by the project needs.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or relevant industry certifications are a plus.
