About The Job
Job Responsibilities
- Single contributor role
- Reports into Singapore CEO and Regional Head of Legal
- Draft, review and negotiate on a host of documents, agreements and contracts
- Provide legal advice to management and supporting the business on a variety of employment and commercial issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Advise on legal risks and potential liabilities, offering strategic solutions to mitigate risks
- Manage and keep custody of contracts signed by the Company
- Handle legal aspects of client agreements and disclosures
- Manage and negotiate contractual relationships with service providers and third parties
- Assist in resolving of disputes
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- LLB degree with 8 to 10 years of work experience in corporate law
- Have at least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Meticulous and able to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize, multi task and work under pressure
- Positive work attitude
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Good knowledge of Securities and Futures Act, relevant MAS and SGX regulations and understanding of Singapore employment law and practices
