Accounts Assistant

Job Responsibility:-

  • Monthly book-keeping
  • Prepare statutory accounts, working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
  • Perform Data Entry
  • Daily update & reconcile finance accounts, trading books and cash book.
  • Calculate and check to make sure payments, receipts, amounts and records are correct.
  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing funds and answering any queries.
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt
  • Support superior and colleague to achieve efficient team work
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager

Requirements:-

  • Strong accounting knowledge & experience is required; Minimum 3 years of hands on book-keeping experience
  • Chartered Accountant preferred
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma
  • Applicants must be willing to work in CBD area
  • Bilingual (English/Mandarin) to liaise with external vendors
  • 5 days work week but willing to put in the necessary time to ensure timely closure of accounts each month
  • Highly fluent with MS Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with Xero accounting software is preferred
