Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Research Engineer specializing in Post-Quantum Cryptography and AI technologies to join our advanced research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics, software development, and communication systems. The candidate will focus on designing, analyzing, and validating cryptographic solutions that remain secure against quantum computing threats, contributing to the future of secure digital communication.
Major Responsibilities
· Research and Development:
-Conduct cutting-edge research on post-quantum cryptographic algorithms.
-Investigate potential weaknesses in current cryptographic standards and help develop quantum-resistant algorithms.
-Design cryptographic protocols that ensure security and efficiency in a post-quantum world.
-Investigate and design adoption of AI technology.
· Mathematical Modeling:
- Develop mathematical models and theoretical frameworks for post-quantum cryptosystems.
-Conduct performance analysis and benchmark new cryptographic algorithms for robustness and scalability.
· Software Development:
-Implement and optimize post-quantum cryptographic algorithms in software, using programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Rust.
-Work with existing cryptographic libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenSSL, Liboqs) to integrate quantum-safe algorithms.
-Collaborate with software development teams to ensure secure integration of quantum- resistant cryptosystems into applications.
· Security Protocols & Systems:
-Design and test quantum-resistant security protocols for networks, cloud services, and distributed systems.
-Develop key exchange and digital signature algorithms that are secure in the quantum era.
-Explore hybrid cryptography solutions that combine classical and post-quantum techniques for immediate use.
· Collaboration andPublication:
-Work closely with interdisciplinary teams of researchers, cryptographers, and engineers to tackle the challenges of post-quantum cryptography.
-Publish research results in top-tier journals and conferences, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Prototyping andTesting:
-Design and implement proof-of-concept cryptographic systems for practical applications.
-Perform experimental testing to evaluate the performance, security, and efficiency of post- quantum cryptographic methods.
· Stay Updated:
-Keep abreast of the latest developments in quantum computing, cryptography, and related fields.
-Contribute to the company's post-quantum cryptography roadmap and long-term strategy.
Required Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
· Proficiency in mathematics, particularly in number theory, algebra, and complexity theory.
· Hands-on experience in software development using languages such as Python, C/C++, Rust, or Go.
· Familiarity with communication protocols and security architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Good understanding of cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques.
· Good understanding of AI technology
· Experience with post-quantum cryptographic frameworks and algorithms (e.g., NIST PQC candidates).
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary research environment.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively share research insights.
· High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to emerging security threats.
