The Job
- Setting content strategy and driving engagement on our social platforms targeted at corporate clients. Develop and implement engaging social media content that aligns with the bank's brand and marketing goals, ensuring posts are optimised for reach and virality.
- Oversee the creation of multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and written posts, ensuring high-quality and engaging material that resonates with the target audience.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, fads, and platform updates to incorporate into the bank's social media strategy.
- Build and foster a community around the bank’s social media channels by actively engaging with followers and responding to feedback.
- Utilise expertise in social media algorithms to adapt content strategies that maximise organic reach and engagement.
- Analyse social media metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies to improve performance, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Create, review, and post content in both English and Chinese to effectively engage a diverse audience.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including design and marketing, to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Support marketing campaigns by generating content tailored for social media that enhances reach and campaign effectiveness.
- Regularly test new ideas and formats to stay ahead of the curve and drive continuous improvement.
The Talent
- Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation. Experience working with financial institutions is a plus. Familiarity with the use of various AI tools in content production.
- Strong understanding of backend algorithms for major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, WeChat).
- Proven ability to create content that captivates and drives engagement.
- Data and results-oriented with the ability to analyse key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
- Strong social media following that reflects knowledge and execution of successful content strategies.
