Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer
Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to lead and drive the design process for our digital products. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of user-centered design solutions, a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. As a Senior Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to shape the user experience from concept to delivery, ensuring that our products meet both user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research & Analysis:Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and inform design decisions.
Analyze user feedback and behavior to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to define user needs and align design efforts.
- UI/UX Design:Lead the design of user interfaces (UI) that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Design intuitive, responsive, and interactive digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate design concepts clearly.
Develop design systems and UI patterns to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
- Collaboration & Leadership:Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional team members to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
Lead design reviews, presenting concepts and rationale to internal teams and stakeholders.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level designers, helping to elevate the overall design quality.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
- Prototyping & Testing:Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and design concepts.
Lead or assist in conducting user testing and usability studies, making data-driven design decisions based on findings.
Refine designs based on testing results to optimize usability and overall experience.
- Brand & Visual Design:Ensure that the UI design aligns with the overall brand identity, maintaining visual consistency across all touchpoints.
Work with marketing teams to create design assets for branding, campaigns, and promotional materials.
Uphold high standards for design quality and attention to detail, ensuring a polished and professional output.
- Documentation & Handoff:Prepare design specifications, guidelines, and assets for handoff to developers, ensuring smooth implementation of the designs.
Work with the development team during the implementation phase to ensure designs are executed accurately.
Document design processes, decisions, and workflows to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a proven portfolio of design work across both mobile and web platforms.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven ability to implement them.
- Experience in creating design systems and reusable UI components.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with user research methodologies and the ability to translate user data into actionable design insights.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present and defend design decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
