Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Develop, document, and implement robust internal control procedures to support accurate financial reporting.
- Handle advanced accounting functions, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Leverage QuickBooks and other financial systems to extract data and create meaningful financial reports.
- Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements, leading or participating in their implementation.
- Partner with various departments to drive complex projects and continuous improvements beyond the accounting team's scope.
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Sales, Technical, and other key stakeholders to ensure aligned financial practices.
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification or its equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, or suitable for graduate trainees with excellent potential.
- Expertise in advanced Excel functionalities, including data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Accounting Standards, GST, and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Proven experience in preparing for yearly audits and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and adaptability to change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges
