Job Description
The incumbent will act as a key member for one of the most sought-after Master’s programmes at the NUS Faculty of Science. The dedicated person will work with the programme manager to ensure the smooth delivery of the self-financing programme and ensure its service standard. By working with the Programme Manager, Programme Director and the Deanery members at the Faculty of Science, he/she will contribute to the Programmes’ end-to-end administration including admission, programme management, alumni relations, and other related portfolios. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -
- Work closely with the Programme Manager, Programme Director and Dean’s Office for the overall administration of the Master’s programmes throughout the student lifecycle.
- Contribute to the daily management of the MSc programme, from programme administration, teaching matters, course registration, exams, to graduation.
- Help manage the programmes’ admission cycles by handling document verification, application enquiries, and assisting in the selection of candidates, to upkeep the programmes’ quality.
- Organize student activities such as orientation, workshop and gatherings.
- Undertake other administrative duties related to the Programmes/Centre for Data Science & Machine Learning if needed.
Qualifications/Requirements/Other Info
- Degree from a recognized university, postgraduate degree preferred
- Programme management experience, preferably 2+ years of experience as programme coordinator and partnership development in the higher education sector
- IT-savvy and proficient in MS Office
- Meticulous and possess good organizational skills
- Motivated, self-starter with ability to contribute to strategic planning, and perform duties independently
- Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with annual variable bonus which is subject to incumbent’s performance and the University/School’s prevailing remuneration policies.
- The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits.
