Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage technical operations of marine vessels to ensure smooth functionality.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vessel systems and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Provide technical expertise for vessel repairs, refits, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with shipyards and suppliers for maintenance, spare parts procurement, and technical services.
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Lead and train crew members to maintain and operate vessels effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork among all stakeholders.
- Willing to work in shipyards, offshore locations, or other challenging environments.
- Provide on-site support and supervision during vessel maintenance or emergency repairs.
Requirements
- Proven technical and operational knowledge of marine vessel operations and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an independent and proactive approach.
- Demonstrated ability in people management and fostering positive work attitudes.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to remote and offshore locations.
- Experience working in shipyards or offshore environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
