Key Responsibilities:
- Perform measurement of quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Address Requests for Information (RFIs) and clarification related to tenders.
- Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop tender base costs and finalize submission prices.
- Compile all mandatory submission documents.
- Prepare comprehensive tender cost proposals for management review.
- Attend site briefings and kick-off meetings as required.
- Oversee contract administration for designated projects, including main contracts and subcontracts.
- Manage project procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of materials.
- Analyze and evaluate price comparisons and prepare costing summaries.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and timelines.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in tender preparation, bidding, and contract management.
- Proficiency in construction measurement and cost estimation tools.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
