Solar Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management

  • Develop comprehensive project plans for solar energy systems, outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve project goals.

Team Leadership

  • Lead site teams and contractors to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
  • Provide clear direction and resolve on-site issues to maintain project momentum.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns while providing regular updates.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with project requirements.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
  • Procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to support project activities.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies and optimize resource utilization.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct quality control checks and oversee inspections to maintain project integrity.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
  • Proactively address challenges to ensure successful project completion.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, PVsyst).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Evening) based on operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and environmental standards for solar projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
