Responsibilities
· Design, install, configure, and maintain network and security systems, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
· Monitor network performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network availability and reliability.
· Ensure 24x7 operational continuity of the Firm’s Network and Security Infrastructure
· Ensure compliance with network and security policies, standards, and best practices, and perform audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
· Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff, and document network and security procedures and configurations.
· Ensure proper reporting and on-time delivery of all assigned task, rollout and projects.
· Enforce necessary security rules, routing and firewall policies and recommend changes, in alignment to the Firm security policies, to improve the enterprise security infrastructure.
· Research and evaluate new network and security technologies and recommend upgrades and enhancements to improve network and security performance and security.
· Manage infrastructure related Malware/Cyber security boundaries and build strong security defences to protect the intellectual property, data and infrastructure of the Firm’s enterprise network
· Proactively anticipate, mitigate, investigate and engage all alerts to pre-empt incidents and disruptions.
· Collaboration with System, Application and Desktop team for all network and security related incident and request.
· Collaborate with System team for annual DR testing.
· Maintain close alignment and communication with Global partners of Dentons Group for effective collaboration
· Vendor management to ensure SLA are met
Requirements
· Diploma in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· At least five years of experience in network and security administration, preferably in a large and complex IT environment.
· Professional certification in network and security, such as CCNA, CCNP or CEH.
· Strong knowledge of network and security protocols, standards, and tools, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLAN, VPN, IPSec, SSL, SSH, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team and with diverse stakeholders.
