We are seeking a Buyer Executive to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure products and services from vendors while ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
- Maintain and manage supplier relationships, ensuring optimal delivery schedules and contract terms.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on new products, trends, and supplier capabilities.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the team to ensure product availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and budget constraints.
- Track and evaluate supplier performance and resolve any procurement issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing strategies with company objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience in retail, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Ability to analyse market trends and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
