Production Day Supervisor

Process Summary:
The Production Day Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the production process of the EVAL Manufacturing site, which will be launched in second half of 2026, and makes any necessary process changes to maintain the production operation safely and stably. Production Day Supervisor supports process transition and shutdown work planning with maintenance team. Updating and maintaining all standard operating procedures (SOP), training manual for the production department is also the task of Production Day Supervisor. The Production Day Supervisor reports to the Production Manager. Until the startup of EVAL production line, training and learning opportunity of EVAL production technology is provided by experienced members in company. The Production Day Supervisor is responsible for issuing SOP of new EVAL site and training new employees to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of new EVAL plant.
Responsibilities:
- Be competent in actual plant operation, and support and assist the shift supervisors and production technicians in the production of EVOH.
- Monitor and maintain utility supply system operation.
- Arrange disposal of waste products with authorized waste handling companies.
- Control raw materials inventories
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and commissioning of equipment.
- Work with Maintenance Department on Transition and shutdown maintenance planning
- Review and update all standard operating procedures, training manual and conduct classroom and on the job training for process technicians.
- Lead safety activities for PPE, 5S, KY and other safety exercise for technicians.
- Support the orientation, training and supervision and evaluation of newly employed and existing production personnel according to the Total Company Training Plan and production demands.
- Manage the training of production technicians to achieve the standards required of HSEQ policy and its compliance system i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS 651.
- Participate in continual and process improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years polymer or petrochemical plant experience
- Ability to lead people in a supervision or lead role.
- Exceptional knowledge and application of all safety rules and safety processes required in a chemical plant.
- Experience in the operation of chemical plant equipment (such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, instrumentation systems, extruders, and continuous stirred tank reactors)
- Experience in the operation of utility supply equipment (such as cooling tower, air compressor, chiller unit, RO unit, etc.)
- Experience in waste management systems
