Key Responsibilities:
- To take part in our business transformation journey towards, digitalisation, Industry 4.0, data warehouse, sustainability, intellectual property, etc.
- To be the subject matter expert on aspects such as CRM, business analytics, profitability and financial analysis
- To develop and acquire new clients and business opportunities
- To initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions with all stakeholders
- To support management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities
- To proactively develop and improve products and services
- To stay abreast with changes in the industry including relevant regulatory authorities and to determine its implications to the business and the organization’s goals
- 40% overseas travelling required
- Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and policy, including the implications of nonconforming to the requirements and the assessment of occupational risks and hazards.
- Schedule regular communication with employees to discuss expectations and challenges and help to remove obstacles related to product safety and quality.
- Act on comments and suggestions from employees about product safety and quality seriously, and regularly encourage employees to offer ideas about improving product safety and quality.
- Allocate time for employees to receive product safety and quality training, as well as regular updates and refresher sessions.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Must have CRM and data analytics experience (data-driven decision making)
- Knowledge Microsoft office suites
- Must be proficient in Microsoft excel (Pivot table, charts, vlookup, etc)
- Minimum 5 years in business developing capacity in similar or related field
- Minimum 3 years of overseas business experience outside Asia (Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa)
- Minimum 3 years in managing a team of people
- Proven experience in budget and revenue projection
- Proven experience in costing (manufacturing) and tender submission
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organized, independent
- Self-starter
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
