Responsibilities include:
- Manage and ensure various projects are carried out to satisfaction
- Supervise and guide team members in the tasks assigned
- Responsible for day to day operations and administration on network infrastructure.
- Perform onsite installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment and network operating system in remote sites with team members.
- Responsible in troubleshooting and/or debugging network related problems. Good knowledge troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution and/or resolution recommendation activities to second-level teams.
- Setup and configure complex switching environments base on approved designs
- Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
- Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with senior network engineers on network optimization.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
- Travel to different outlets in Singapore for onsite meetings with contractors colleagues.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT equivalent or related fields
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP and other relevant IT industry certificates.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Operational experience in managing/maintaining Enterprise network environments within a managed service environment.
- Understanding of various networking equipment products (Cisco, F5 preferably)
- Must be customer-focused with good problem solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to teach and train others.
- Experience in Cisco syntax, AWS and GCP networking will be preferred.
