Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production, assembly, installation, and commissioning of equipment. You will manage the entire project lifecycle from the design phase through execution, ensuring successful project closure and handover. You will work closely with internal stakeholders on the routine projects, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project management lifecycle from design to project closure, including pre-delivery checks, testing, and handover.
- Attend project kickoff meetings to understand project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Coordinate the preparation of project drawings and documents, and review and implement change orders and amendments.
- Coordinate and schedule engineers and technicians to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and gather information from suppliers.
- Manage pre-delivery testing, on-site installation, termination, and commissioning of equipment.
- Conduct technical reviews of plans to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
- Continuously monitor project performance and provide accurate monthly project status reports to the management.
- Ensure compliance with all related quality procedures and departmental Business Continuity Plans.
- Perform any other duties of a similar nature or level as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in energy and offshore sector or marine navigation systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of quality procedures and regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
