We are looking for a skilled Senior Executive of Operations or an Operations Manager to support our client’s Chartering PIC across a range of vessel sizes (Handy to Panamax). This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and coordination skills to work across their APAC offices. Key responsibilities include overseeing nomination and documentation processes post-vessel fixing, managing information flow, and guiding operations teams. Additionally, you’ll handle basic troubleshooting, liaise with customers and brokers on commercial matters, and may take on P&L monitoring responsibilities based on performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years’ experience in commercial shipping (dry bulk preferred, but other shipping sectors also welcomed)
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other Asian language is a plus
- Solid understanding of dry bulk shipping practices and charter parties
- Proficient in MS Office and strong communication skills
- A team-oriented, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
