The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Network Engineer (Level 2 & 3) on a contract basis with salary of $6000. Working in the Boon Lay West Region, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and maintenance for the organization's network infrastructure.
Jon Responsibilities:
- Configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points
- Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving issues to ensure reliable and efficient network operations
- Assisting with the implementation of new network technologies and infrastructure upgrades
- Providing technical support and guidance to end-users on network-related matters
- Documenting network configurations, processes and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex network challenges
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies and best practices
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper or Aruba
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve network issues
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent preferred
