Admission Counsellor

Global Indian International School Pte. Ltd.

Job Description & Requirement:-

  • Maximise student enrolments to meet student recruitment targets and achieve the key performance indicators
  • Understand the education level, commitments, and motivations of prospective students/parents and provide advice and consultation regarding curriculum
  • Advising higher grade students’ on curricular choices, as needed, and works with students to understand college admissions for different educational systems, especially aspects unique to them
  • Understand consumer’s behaviour and the factors affecting buying decisions through regular competitor
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of competitors
  • Adhere to compliances and processes, while ensuring documentation is properly maintained
  • Participate in available educational conferences and seminars to obtain knowledge of new competitors’ product and new initiatives.
  • Maintain good service relationship with existing parents and establish new contacts/referrals and recruitment leads to achieve recruitment target
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with various stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational ability and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in school counselling and understanding of admissions for educational systems
  • Meticulous, have an eye for detail and well organized to meet the business requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff, students and learning facilitators
  • Must be able to work under pressure, exceed revenue targets, meet admin deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Able to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within given parameters, prescribed routines, and accepted standard practices
  • Ability to cultivate good work relationships with all colleagues, customers and authorities to contribute to team effectiveness and productivity
  • Adaptability to work in a matrix type of organisational set-up, participating on lateral projects, if needed

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday – 9:00am – 5:30pm

Saturday – 9:00am – 1:00pm
