- Prepare proposal and budget estimates for new contracts / tenders.
- Assist in the Variation Orders (VO) for ongoing projects.
- Develop, review and monitor the compliance of the tender and contracts policies and guidelines, in line with the industry's best practice.
- Liaise and negotiate with clients, vendors, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants on project requirement.
- Work closely with QS / Tender team in preparation of tender submission.
- Work closely with the project teams in VOs verification
- A great eyes for details in evaluating quotation, assess variation order (VO), escalation, abortive work, measure quantities / taking off and accounts finalization.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably majoring in MEP trade or Mechanical.
- Strong interpersonal skills with prior cost estimation experience in a M&E construction environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze issues and creatively identify solutions.
- High level of initiative, independent, proactive and meticulous.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work at Tuas where there is tranporation pick up at designated MRT.
- Willingness to work beyond official hours to meet tender tight timelines.
- At least 8 years o working experience in the related field.
- Well verse in Ms Excel
