A growing corporate bank in Singapore is looking for a skilled Assistant Relationship Manager to support Relationship Managers in driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships. This role offers an attractive annual salary of up to $80,000.
Job Summary:
To support Relationship Managers in driving overall performance by acquiring and maintaining long-term relationships with corporate banking clients, particularly in Syndications and Structured & Commodity Trade Finance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Team Head and Senior Relationship Managers to develop and maintain business relationships with existing and potential corporate clients.
- Actively participate in marketing and selling corporate banking services and products offered by the bank.
- Work with product and risk partners to formulate and execute account strategies that maximize total revenues from the portfolio.
- Assist Relationship Managers with customer inquiries and transactions related to account balances, deposit renewals, loan rollovers, and foreign exchange.
- Ensure diligent account planning and management, demonstrating a clear path for generating acceptable risk/return revenues through cross-selling of products such as deposits and FX.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in a sizable bank or financial institution focusing on wholesale banking, particularly in structured commodity trade finance, is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of wholesale banking products and credit analysis training will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with syndications and structured & commodity trade finance is a plus.
- Good understanding of legal terms and documentation procedures related to syndications and structured finance.
