Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review project drawings, specifications, and design requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards
- Assist in the checking of project documentation, including architectural reports, design reviews, and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with sub-contractors, third parties for the implementation of any design revision or modification for compliance to relevant code of practices
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, ensuring that all work is in compliance with approved architectural plans, specifications, and relevant building codes
- Review and approve architectural shop drawings, materials, and samples submitted by contractors to ensure they align with design intent and project standards
- Liaise with the Design Manager, Consultant Architect and C&S engineers, construction teams, and other disciplines to resolve any architectural or design-related issues during construction
- Provide architectural guidance and solutions to address on-site challenges, design changes, or unexpected conditions
- Participate in project meetings with the client, consultants, and contractors to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide updates on architectural elements
- Assist Design Manager in the review of construction drawings, architectural documentation
- Feedback to Design Manager on potential design risks and appropriate adjustments
- Address design implementation and challenges with other team members
- Ensure architectural decisions are aligned with overall project goals
- Provide input to improve design efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Supervision of project to ensure adherence to specifications set by BCA
- Identify any non-conformity of works on site
- Work with clients, contractors, consultants, sub-contractors, and other team members on the design intent requirements and resolve any issues
- Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC policies, processes, systems, reporting, and procedure.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Min 8 year of Architectural works experience, with 5 years supervision for MRT projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, building services systems, and authorities’ requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex architectural drawings and specifications.
