Sales Manager Responsibilities
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets
· Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
· Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
· Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
· Mentor and train junior sales team members, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
· Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement sales best practices.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the director.
Sales Manager Requirements and skills
· BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
· Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager
· Able to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
· Strong business sense and industry expertise
· Able to handle pressure and productive
· The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
· Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
