Dental Assisting
- Providing assistance in all forms of dental procedures to the dental surgeon(s) on duty
- Washing, sterilizing and storing of dental instruments and equipment
- Taking X-rays for patients assessment and treatment planning
- Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of treatment rooms at all times
- Maintaining the cleanliness of dental instruments and equipment
- Checking and topping up of dental material stocks
- Adhoc duties as assigned by Doctors
Counter Reception
- Attends to all patients’ enquiries for appointments and/or walk-in treatment;
- Patient registration; Discharges patients by dispensing medications (or as required), collecting payments accurately, issuing of MC and/or receipts and scheduling patient for subsequent appointments;
- Drafts claims for CHAS treatments;
- Submits insurance dental claims whenever required;
- Records and files documents in accordance with the clinic’s Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs);
- Keys in sales of dental products in Clinic Management software; Sends, tracks and receives laboratory cases;
- Calls patients to remind them of their subsequent appointment with the clinic whenever required;
- Ensures accurate translation of doctors’ schedule into the Clinic Management software; and
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the clinic.
