Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the storage, inventory, and distribution of parts, and kits for base maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with Base hangar Ops personnel to understand kitting requirements and prioritize stock availability.
  • Ensure timely issuance and return of spare parts/kitting kit to avoid delays in aircraft maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement requests to prevent shortages.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies on the report.
  • Implement and maintain efficient kitting management systems.
  • Lead and supervise the kitting store team, ensuring proper training and adherence to company policies.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage shift schedules to always ensure adequate staffing.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards in the aviation industry.
  • Maintain records of spares and equipment usage to meet audit and compliance requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to hangar activities.
  • Collaborate with warehousing, logistics team, and Base hangar Ops teams to streamline kitting processes.
  • Provide daily reports on kitting inventory status, shortages, and operational issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for kitting-related concerns in the hangar.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance kitting operations.
  • Provide monthly kitting services report for customer to review.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or a related field. with min. 3 years of experience in inventory or store management, preferably in aviation or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with inventory management software(SAP) and systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
  • May involve shift work to support 24/7 maintenance operations.
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
