This is a hybrid/remote contract position with a leading American MNC technology company that specialises in internet-related services and products.
We are looking for senior writers to develop insights and content for a digital marketing platform. Our client is one of the largest technology brands globally and its mission is to make marketers around the world more knowledgeable by providing data, insights, and perspectives that change the way they do business.
You will use your excellent writing, storytelling, and editing skills to develop online content for the business and marketing industry in Asia Pacific (Greater China, India, South Korea, Pakistan, Japan) and Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore). You will support the editor-in-chief of an online digital content platform.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling thought leadership content (long-form articles) for audiences in business and marketing
- Conceive, develop, write, review, and edit content for accuracy and quality
- Apply the best SEO practices to thought leadership content
- Develop actionable insights and compelling narratives from data, production information and research findings
- Partner with collaborators to turn research findings and business interests into compelling content
- Analyse content performance to understand gaps and improve content
Qualifications
- Be able to work remotely or on hybrid arrangement and independently
- At least 8+ years of writing experience in digital publishing and/or content marketing with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
- Be knowledgeable in search marketing and analytical tool
- Experience with applying editorial guidelines and visual storytelling
- Possess a strong understanding of marketing trends and tools, and ability to learn and write about new tools and trends skilfully
- Ability to take initiative, handle multiple concurrent tasks, and adapt well to various ways of working among collaborators
