We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
2. Invoice Processing : Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
3. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
4. Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
5. Assist with Month-End Close: Support the month-end closing process by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
6. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
7. Support Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
8. Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks within the finance department as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: A diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
