We are seeking a Chat Software Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in leading our technical initiatives and team management. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead the tech team in developing, deploying, and maintaining reliable and innovative chat software solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results that align with business goals.
- Business Negotiations: Conduct and manage negotiations for major projects, ensuring contracts protect organisational interests and foster successful partnerships.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Monitor industry trends to provide insights and strategies that align technology solutions with market opportunities.
- Team Development: Build and nurture a high-performing tech team through recruitment, mentoring, and fostering a culture of collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing technical teams or chat software systems.
- Strong technical expertise with Java or Golang and familiarity with Linux systems, MySQL, and micro services architecture.
- Proven experience in designing scalable and secure chat systems, utilising real-time communication protocols like WebSocket or gRPC.
- Strong ability to lead technical teams, enforce best practices in coding and documentation, and align technical solutions with business objectives to deliver innovative and high-quality projects.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is preferred to liaise with Chinese counterparts effectively.
- Strong knowledge of chat software technology, market trends, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business negotiations and manage contracts for large-scale projects.
- Candidates who are Singapore Citizens or PR holders are preferred.
