Head of Healthcare Services

The Head of Healthcare Services will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across our network as well as to ensure growth of drugs within the network and management of network sales department.


This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare services, including but not limited to, General Practitioners (GPs), Specialists (SPs), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Dental services and hospitals. The ideal candidate will ensure the adherence to clinical standards, enhance patient care, and drive the strategic growth of the healthcare services department.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the healthcare services department in alignment with overall company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of healthcare services.

2. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including Network Management Team, Pre-Auth/LoG Team, Medical Auditors, Network Sales Team.
  • Provide direction, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.

3. Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of healthcare services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
  • Review and maintain policies and procedures to maintain high standards of network, Pre-auth/ Log management, medical audit and network sales.

4. Network Sales Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks to monitor and improve the management and sales of drugs.

5. Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols including Fraud, Waste and Abuse amongst network and members.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums.


Job Requirements:

  • Medical Degree, 2 years and above
  • Registered with SMC preferred
  • Pharmacological knowledge
  • Strong leadership and management skills with minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare management or TPA, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Operations / Project Management Capabilities, preferred.
