- Conduct initial clinical assessment of new client.
- Perform regular assessments of client needs through the development, update and evaluation of client nursing care plan.
- Diagnosing the disease by analyzing client’s symptoms and taking required actions for his/her recovery
- Update the nursing progress notes for the client when they attend the centre based care.
- Responsible for the safe, accurate administration of medication and treatments provide to the clients, while maintaining complete and accurate applicable documentation.
- Coordinate with physician and other healthcare professional for creating and evaluating customize care plans.
- Ensure all nursing care carried out complies with the nursing standards set by the Ministry of Health
- Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and procedure.
- Provide training and supervision to the team of care staff.
- Plan and coordinate the assignments of care staff according to their job scopeand competencies based on client’s care needs.
- Manage a team of care staff and monitor their performances and development.
- Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment
- Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing and relevant working experience will be an added advantage.
- Candidate with Advance Diploma / Degree in Nursing will be an added advantage
- Registered Nurse with valid practicing license issued by Singapore Nursing Board
- Valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player
- Ability to work independently and effectively in team environment
- Possess planning, communication and interpersonal skills
