Responsibilities:
Pre-contract and post contract administration including the following: -
- Cost estimating and cost planning.
- Preparation of tender documents (including measurements and Bills of Quantities).
- Check progress claims and invoices and certifying work done by Contractors.
- Review and evaluate extra payment and/or extension of time claims by the Contractors and
- make recommendations to the Board.
- Tender management including evaluation of tender submission.
- Assist Contracts Manager, Project Manager in Contract management and cost monitoring,
- management of interim/progress payment, including variation assessment and finalisation of account.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of construction, logistics, material management and the
- ability to provide cost and financial advice.
- Relevant duties as and when assigned by reporting manager.
Qualifications:
- Shall have relevant degree or certification, and about ten (10) years of relevant experience in
- project costing, procurement strategies and scheduling for large used water/water projects or infrastructure projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Have about (3) years working experience in similar capacity in Singapore
- Meticulous, independent, highly motivated, results-oriented and good team player.
- Able to manage stakeholders (Contractors, Client and Consultants).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to meet tight deadlines.
- Experienced in Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) preferred.
