Your new role
- Provide client servicing support to front office, including new account opening, account review, and transaction documentation.
- Develop and implement AML control strategies to optimize account opening and underwriting opportunities.
- Implement operational management and internal control in business unit.
- Support management in formulating business plans and developing sales management reports.
- Provide backup support to other team members.
- Implement AML policy and procedures.
- Perform client due diligence and on-boarding checks.
- Collaborate with front office and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement risk management control policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of banking experience in compliance, risk management, and operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), specifically in client onboarding, ongoing reviews, and transactions monitoring within a Private Banking setting.
- Familiarity with MAS 626 requirements or international AML/CFT standards is essential.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles for private banking, investment, and credit products, as well as delivery channels.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
