Job Scope:
- Lead design and analysis of structural systems, ensuring compliance with codes
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Review and approve designs by junior engineers
- Collaborate with architects and contractors for cohesive project development
- Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Stay updated on industry trends and materials
- Prepare and present technical reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in civil and structural works
- Mandatory experience in infrastructure projects; site experience in MRT or underground roadway projects preferred
- Design management experience with consultants in structural engineering
- Recommended experience working as a consultant
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of local authority requirements
- Positive attitude, good discipline, and strong teamwork skills
