Job description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of cookies.
- Shaping, slicing dough to achieve the desired standard and thickness.
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection.
- Decorate and finish baked goods of various flavours.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment and machinery, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers, answering questions, and taking special orders and cashiering.
Qualification: - Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred. Or enjoys baking / have experiencing in baking.
- Must have Food Hygiene cert
- Basic understanding of baking techniques (important to know how to do simple pipping).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5 days week- Wed-Fri (12-8pm) / Sat- Sun (11-6pm) 1hour break inclusive
Able to commit 1 Dec 2024 - 28 January 2025.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks.
Full time $1600 to $2000.
Part time $10 to $12 per hour.
Interested parties to come down for interview & 1 day paid training before commencement date.
